Over the past fourteen years I have again been devoting most of my time to writing and to coin authentication through my Ancient Coin Certification Service. 1998 saw the publication in London of an entirely new work, THE HISTORY AND COINAGE OF THE ROMAN IMPERATORS. This was the first of my books to be published by Spink & Son who had acquired the Seaby titles from the previous owner, B.T. Batsford. It was the recipient of a Book Prize at the 1999 meeting of the IAPN in Dublin, Ireland. The next work to appear was the first volume of the ‘Millennium Edition’ of ROMAN COINS AND THEIR VALUES(2000). Volumes II and III followed in 2002 and 2005 respectively. After the completion of this series, I plan to undertake a thorough revision of GREEK COINS AND THEIR VALUES before giving further thought to new titles. I hope to be able to continue producing numismatic publications for the collector for many years to come and thereby to promote the pursuit to which I have devoted a large part of my life. All of us who have enjoyed the many rewards which ancient numismatics can offer have an obligation to try to pass this on to future generations, for only in a true appreciation of the past can one hope to come to terms with the complexities and contradictions of modern life and to have hope for the future.

In closing, I should like to express my gratitude to my son, Dexter, for his creativity and technical expertise in producing this Web site. Now, working from his design studio in Boise, Idaho, he has designed a truly outstanding site. If you agree and are giving thought to having a Web site of your own then why not contact him to get further information.
